Union locals are built on strong communication — but time, capacity, and resources are often limited. This practical workshop is designed to introduce union leaders, stewards, and executive members to simple, responsible ways AI can support your local’s communication and day-to-day operations.

In this session, we’ll break down AI in plain language and focus on real-world applications that union locals can use immediately. Participants will learn how AI can help:

• Draft bargaining updates and newsletters

• Create clear, consistent member communications

• Develop training and orientation materials

• Plan events and campaigns

• Organize meeting agendas and summaries

• Improve member engagement across platforms

We will also cover important best practices around privacy, confidentiality, and maintaining your union’s voice.

This workshop is not about replacing leadership — it’s about equipping union leaders with tools that save time, strengthen communication, and help you better serve your membership.

No technical background required. Just bring your questions and a willingness to explore how AI can support your local’s work.
